i'm posted to dialysis unit this week for training. Patient with kidneys fail to function needs dialysis. they look darker. According to explanation that i got, their urea waste which suppose to be secreted out thru kidney are accomudated under skin. During dialysis, that is the only time that they can enjoy their food. they need to have some restriction on food taking and amount of water.

got one patient, only 25 years old!!!! pity....
we must take good care on our diet! Less salt, Less sugar, Less oil, Less fat!!!! More water, More vegetables,More fruits!!! in order to stay health. Please think of your love one.....
